"My contribution is a nod to my favorite of the seasons, autumn. There's something about seeing geese fly about that makes me feel all cozy. Anyway, here are some snapshots of my process. Enjoy :)"

Mike Boldt

Mike Boldt Freelance Illustrator (author) from Spruce Grove, Alberta
"Home Sweet Home" Pencil,8 x 8 Panel
"The word "home" has always felt more rural than urban to me and as soon as I received my art block an image of a country mouse just popped into my head.  I've always loved stories of little forest critters and mythical creatures and imagining their little worlds was one of my favorite things growing up (and still is).  I did the concept digitally and then the final with normal "blue" pencils starting with a sketch and then darkening it in."
